BRYAN HAMILTON

BRYAN HAMILTON

YOUTH MC, 2012 NYC DIGITAL WAVES YOUTH MEDIA FESTIVAL

Bryan Hamilton Jr. is a Brooklyn native, born in 1990 to a mother from the Dominican Republic and a father from Guyana. He is the third born and only male of their four children. Growing up, Bryan's interest in art led to experimentation in poetry, which then guided him to his brightest passion, music. He is quoted saying "I'm an artist who uses whichever medium best conveys my message".  This will be his 4th year working as a Teaching Artist in an after school program called Smart Arts, run by The Brooklyn Philharmonic. There he teaches Recording Studio, a class where middle school children learn to produce, arrange, and record songs. In all, Bryan has been producing and performing music for 8 years and is still discovering himself in his art today.
